BTCC Weekly Update – Friday Night, Wine and Wickets and Loving the Square

Hi all

Well after last week’s wash-out on Friday, it looks as though the weather is well set for this Friday so we are open as usual from around 5.30pm with junior training starting at 6pm. Plenty of sausages and chips via Jackie!

Keep an eye out for "specials" from the bar on the boards near the tables – we are trying some new drinks and nibbles. If you have any feedback, then please do let me know as we are always open to updating our stock!

This week, we still have Sweet Chilli Nobby’s Nuts and San Pellegrino Limonata to try! …… oh and some Pimms!

The excitement of Super Sunday has just about died down – you can see the silverware on display at the club!

Wine and Wickets is Back

We are delighted to confirm we will be running Wine and Wickets again on Friday 18th August – a fun session for anyone and everyone, with no experience required – all participants will be rewarded with some fizz (or anything you prefer!) after the session.

Loving the Square

As if the Ground Crew don’t already "love the square" …… we are now in "overdrive" preparing for the Devon vs Somerset game. The pitch has been worked on since the beginning of the season but we are now ramping up activity to ensure the playing surface is as good as it can be. Last night, the team were out in earnest, cutting, brushing, rolling, brushing and cutting again …… and then some tender touches as well……. "strike the pose"!!
