Hi All,

With a "second summer" this week we are hoping for a better Friday Night this week – the bar will be open from 5.30pm and food as usual and junior training from 6pm – we look forward to seeing you all.

Wine and Wickets is This Friday from 6.30pm

After the wash-out last Friday ……

The prosecco and all drinks are on ice and the team are ready – Wine and Wickets will start at 6.30pm ……. so enough time to relax beforehand!

It doesn’t matter if you have never even picked up a bat or a ball or are a hidden professional. The session is for everyone and, based on previous experience, will be a huge amount of fun!

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible – if you need any more details please contact Kelly Luscombe – kellyluscombe

Womens Match Report from Captain Kelly Luscombe – A Fabulous Win!

The Women’s 1stXI travelled to Heathcoat and had a point to prove after losing to them at home.

Heathcoat won the toss and elected to bat. Bovey bowled and fielded fantastically making very little mistakes.

Catches were taken by Mollie Harvey, Kelly Luscombe and Megan Pascoe. Libby Hancock took 3 wickets with Lily Colwill bowling another 2 out. Bovey bowled Heathcoat all out with a total of 135 to chase.

Heathcoat took an early wicket to get captain Kelly Luscombe out. However, Lauren Edworthy and Libby Hancock stepped up with a good partnership of 55 before Libby was bowled out. Lauren continued to bat well ending up 52 not out and Bovey reached the total with 5 wickets in hand. A great team performance putting Bovey 4th in the table and not far behind next week’s opponents Topsham.

Women and U15 Girls Join Up for Training

Thanks to Kelly Luscombe and Ellie Ingham-Hill who ran a superb end of season joint training session for the Womens and U15 Girls this week – a fun softball match with a competitive edge!
